Two-level apartment
This two-level apartment in Bucharest covers an area of 64 m² and was originally designed for rental purposes. The goal was to create a bright and airy interior that would offer a comfortable living space for a young couple or an individual.
Apartments of this type feature an intriguing layout and several important characteristics that should be considered. On the first level, there is a kitchen and a living room area, with a dining space by the window that can comfortably accommodate four people. To maintain an uncluttered environment, two folding chairs for guests are discreetly stored in the kitchen. The lamps above the dining table are particularly noteworthy; they are crafted from thin veneer in an elegant design, contributing to the room's unique ambiance. The compact kitchen cleverly conceals all essential appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, water filter, oven, two-burner cooktop, and extractor hood. Upon entering, one finds a small dressing room and a toilet. The dressing room is designed to house a washing machine and storage for outerwear and shoes. On the second level, there is a double bed accompanied by bedside tables of varying shapes, a desk, a spacious wardrobe area, and a bathroom.
The interior's color palette, featuring soft blue tones complemented by white and sandy shades, creates a calming and enveloping atmosphere. Natural materials such as wood, rattan, and textiles contribute to the coziness and warmth of the space. Wooden blinds enhance the ambiance, adding authenticity, while the interplay of light filtering through them invites relaxation and encourages moments of reflection and daydreaming.
The interior proved to be both relaxing and harmonious, as well as functional and comfortable for everyday living.
